Assassin's Creed Reveals Unexpected AoT Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a unexpected collaboration that breaks conventional predictions, Ubisoft has announced an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Uncovered
According to the official release, "A mysterious meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome changes echo through the obscurity." The narrative introduces a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden sect.
The adventure centers on "strange tests and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Changes
The preview highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer ends with a striking sequence showing a character, probably the hostage, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Prizes and Additional Material
Players who finish the mission will acquire an exclusive katana together with several items concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
- Titan-themed costume for Yasuke
- Mikasa outfit for Naoe

Newest Free Story Update
This patch also introduces the game's latest complimentary story episode, titled "The Enigma."
